Donate to First Tee — Athens and make a difference in the lives of youth throughout the Athens Community!
The First Tee Program focuses on teaching the Nine Core Values™ of Confidence, Courtesy, Honesty, Integrity, Judgment, Perseverance, Respect, Responsibility and Sportsmanship through interactive learning activities which incorporate fun-filled games along with golf instruction into each session.
Through our program, kids will learn skills that stay with them for life:
- Understanding and managing emotions
- Resolving conflicts
- Setting up step-by-step goals
- Planning for the future
- Appreciating diversity
- Golf fundamentals and advanced techniques
Our goal is to increase every kid’s chances for success in life through involvement in our program.
The generosity of our donors helps us serve children throughout the Athens community between the ages of 6–18. Through after-school and in-school programs, we help shape the lives of young people from all walks of life by reinforcing values like integrity, respect, and perseverance through the game of golf. And it’s making a difference.
